Has anyone ever seen a tool that will allow you to show the name of the computer you are logged on to in the start menu of the system? The reason I ask is because I would like to know what computer I am logged on to without having to create a desktop background that shows the computer name or without having to go the Right click on My Computer...route.

I don't know of any tools, but one way to do this would be to create a blank file with the name of the computer, and put that into the startmenu...

and you can change the name of the file on start with a simple batch or something...
