Hey...

I've got a hard drive full of MP3 albums, complete with album artwork showing up on the small buff Windows folder. I did this when ripping the music in through Windows Media Player 10.

Here's the problem now I've come to back these all up on to a new external hard drive. Selecting all the folders, making sure I'd in Windows in the dropdown command to Show Hidden Files, I've transfered them over - but the thumbnails of the album artwork won't show up!

How can I get around this please...?

On the new hard drive, I've right clicked on an album, selected Properties and the Customise tab it shows the exact picture I want it display - I press Select Default - but it won't select the album artwork.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance...
Antonio

Hi AntonioAnsell,

At the top of your screen in the browser you have the two arrow icons, then a manila folder icon with a green arrow through it, then a Search icon, then the Folders icon; next is a little square icon. Click on the little square icon and choose Thumbnails.

These instructions will work for Internet Explorer.
