The manual for my PDA (ViewSonic V37) indicates that when you close an app it completely exits and shouldn't show up on the 'running programs' list. Is this correct? If so there's something wrong with my machine as pretty much everything - Word, Excel, notes, calendar, the lot - stays in this list and takes up memory when you close the app with the 'x'.

If this is what they're supposed to do it seems rather silly!

Glohamar thanks for the cool website, When I go to the skins link on the website it shows on the today screen the weather and what looks like the task or calandar events on the screen. when I down loaded the program and the skins I cannot get it to look like this is there a manual or can you explane how I would set up my screen to look like the same as the skin IO XP 1.1?

thanks, Scruby

Scruby,

What you are seeing on that particular screen shot is another program called TodayPlus (I think). If you do a search for it, you will find where it is located. Last I heard, the programmer has left for awhile, but is back now. If you look at the one just to the right of that one, the weather is being displayed with a program call JournalBar located here
The calendar and task infor is from a couple of program. One is a PIM replacement call PocketInformant and the today screen is using a program called PIToday
Hope that helps. There are alot of neat Today Plug-ins out there.
