Should content in layers be in tables?

Hi,

If I am putting text or images in layers then should I put a table in the layer and then put the content in this? At the moment I have not done this and all looks ok but I have read you should.

I know about not putting layers in tables and making sure the table is narrower than the layer.

its a matter of layout. treat a layer as a mini html area. design within the layer as you would an html page. that includes inserting a child layer. however NS4 doesnot completely support nested layers Ranjan

Ok cool, in a couple of them I only have text and lists so I dont need to put it in a table.
