After installing an NFS client on a Win NT 4 machine, the small arrow that appears on icons to represent shortcuts and the hand that appears on icons to represent a shared file/folder have been replaced. Shortcuts appear with the desird icon but they now have a the floppy disk icon over them and shared items have the winzip icon over them.

The NFS software (to connect to a UNIX machine) was un-installed shortly after it was installed as it did not work.
The person who installed the software cannot remember if the icons changed after installation or the un-installation of the sofware.
Any thoughts please? [sig][/sig]

Simply deleting the shelliconcache and rebooting may straighten things out.
