on one computer ive deleted the shortcut but I want it back....how can i recreate it? i did a quick setup on another computer but the shortcut properties show no path, errr!

If you HAD an offline shortcut, this means that SOMEWHERE on your HD is the file or page, unless you deleted that also when you removed the Temp internet files.
You have to SEARCH/FIND the offline file/page you wish to view, and make another shortcut.
Run
Search
*(ANYTHING YOU REMEMBER IN THE NAME OF THE FILE)*

Once you find it:
Right Click/Create Shortcut...etc...

Hope this helps

Yea, I tried the obvious. I ran the help function, imagine that! Hahahahah. If you lose or delete the shortcut created for offline files just do the following:

- open windows explorer
- Tools
- Folder Options
- Offline Files Tab
- check 'Create an Offline Files shortcut on the Desktop'
- Hit OK.

I use WinXP Pro so I'm not sure if these options are the same for all releases. I swear, everytime I post here I find the answer immediately after I post but never before. Patience is a virtue I don't have time for.
