shortcut to desktop for CDROM

Hello,

Does anyone know how to make my CD leave a shortcut on the desktop so it can be opened easily again once the user has quit the CD. It is auto run when the user puts the CD in the machine, can it only be autorun or leave an ikon or can I have both?
