Shortcut for toggling through tools

Is there a way to toggle through the tools with a keyboard shortcut?

Quark has this feature, you can move through the tools in 2 directions, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this in ID.

I know each tool has its own shortcut but I would prefer toggling. It only requires one hand position for all tools and its easier to get off the text tool.

You can create your own shortcuts but I do not believe there is a way to "toggle" through them except by using the assigned keystrokes. Changing the shortcuts is either in Preferences or the Edit Menu. I forget which. Oh ID also lets you revert to Quark shortcuts if that is what you want to try as well.
