I created a shortcut for my mdb. I get the following error when I double click on the icon, "Windons cannot find mdb. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search". I press the OK button and the access mdb is on the main menu screen. Does any know why this error is happening? Thank you for any help!!!!

Right-click on your shortcut and make sure the Target is pointing the actual database location. If it is, How did you create this shortcut?

Thank you for your reply!!! Yes, the target is pointing at the correct database. I created the short cut from explorer by right clicking on the actual mdb and using the create shortcut menu. Any suggestions?

What happens when you double-click the actual mdb in the Explorer window ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
