Hello

I'm using Access 2003 and have a shortcut menu bar that does not work when I use it on a subform (displays the default menu) but works fine if it's the main form.

I found some information that if your using access 2007 with a 2003 database that it has issues with the shortcut menu and a hot fix mentioned for 2007

I have been unable to find out if this is a known bug for 2003 and if there is a fix for it.

Thanks Chris

There are a number of properties that are only in effect for main forms and main reports that subplant anything for subs. It makes sense to me that the toolbar property for the main form would be in effect.

The easy solution would be to set the toolbar property on the main form. If that is not desirable, I'm afraid I don't use toolbars often enough to know how to manage which one is open. Toolbars are part of the commandbar object model, so that may be a place to start.
