I have to document my work time and find it a pain to constantly be clicking on Outlook|Journal|New Journal Entry. Is there a way to assign a function key to run that for me?
You can make a "new journal entry" icon on your tool bars in Outlook....
If you have outlook open its Ctrl+Shift+J
or if you are in outlook you can click on the down arrow next to New.... then it should give you a list of all the new things you can create.. one of them is a journal entry..
hope that helps..
but as for creating an icon on the desktop.. I doubt it
Thanks for the response. I was looking for a solution that allows me to keep Outlook minimized and, while working in another application, press a function key that would open a new journal entry.
