Our ITSP will only accept calls in the INVITE if all digits are sent at once.

The only way I can get this is to have the following short code:

7XXXXXXXXXXX
N"@10.10.10.10"
Dial
15

This causes a problem with local calls without STD code.

Is there a way to force the SIP trunk to wait until all digits are dialled before sending the INVITE to the ITSP??? like ETSI en-bloc??

This is in the UK BTW.

In system>telephony :
Dial Delay Timer = 4
Dial Delay Count = blank or zero

All function codes of the type "Dial" must end with ;

The shortcode to your SIP line will be like :
7N;
N"@10.10.10.10"
Dial
15

Alternatively you can send the SIP call to a ARS page and do the following:
System shortcode =
7N
N"@SIP URL"
DIAL
51:SIP ( this is the ARS page to create )

On the ARS page you can select to use the system dial delay timer or set a specific value, set it to 4.
Create a shortcode like this :
N;
N"@SIP URL"
Dial
15

I tried the dial delay count. All it did was make the system take longer to dial internal extn no's. It didn't help the external calls.

I think I will have to have short codes like:

0XXXXXXXXXX
2XXXXXX
3XXXXXX.... etc

Sorry, That will teach me to read posts properly.

Just noticed the ;.

I will give that a go.

Part of the RFC for SIP is that the whole number must be present in the invite, you cannot use overlap dialing on SIP.

Good man Intrigrant.

Got it to work.

All I have to do now is sort out dialling using the 1 SIP trunk we have 1st then backup to our PRI.

Should be easy!!!!!!!!!!!

If it says onobtainable then there is either a license problem or authentication problem.

i think the problem is that

191784873mS SipDebugInfo: License, Valid 1, Available 1, Consumed 1
191784874mS SipDebugInfo: Outgoing Call in excess of License: Consumed: 1, Available: 1

what is the solution about this error message.

i have sip trunk channels instance 1 licence,

i can dial somewhere and later i can not dial, i wait for a minute, state changes , and i can dial again,

i dont understand, isp did not give me a password,
and i ticked the registration required button,

is problem about license or authentication.how can i solve this.

thanks.
