Their is a short code set up for a user on our system
Code - *FWD0
Telephone Number - 07834000000=07834000000 (not the real number)
Feature - Forward Number
Line Group Id - 0

Why would the telephone number be entered twice?

That shortcode creates the number in the dropdown field of the forwarding part of this user.
when you delete this shortcode then this number is gone on the drop down list.
