Short Code to Log Someone Into a Hunt Group

Hey,

Is there a short code or feature button that I can program to log someone's extension into or out of a Hunt Group?

Basically my agents forget to log out alot when they take extended breaks and I'd like a quick way to log them out and back in.

this must be the newest trend or something. The same question was a few days ago. If you go to the second page of the IP Office forum then you will find the "1 button login" thread with the answer

Set the logout option on no answer.
Or set the log out option after a certain time (timeout)

I did review the other post and not sure if that is what I am looking to do.

As a supervisor from my desk I want to be able to dial a code to log someone in/out of a group.

You can not someone else in or out.
That is the responsibility of the agent and not the supervisor.
Your responsibility is to tell the agent to do his or hers job.

You could load and use Manager to do that

Or hot desk into their extension and hit the button. The post above me would be more affective though.

or use phone manager log in and dial the login/logout code from their phone without leaving your desk

If the users have Phone Manager Pro, then you can turn on "agent mode" and select all the HG you wan't the user to have enabled. The supervisor needs to login for every agent then.

If you add -many in the shortcut of the PhoneManager then you could have more the one PhoneManager running at the same time.

Also SoftConsole might be the best option for this. Just browse the user, then right click on it and set the HG you want.
