I have a customer who is trying to record their name using the short code *88. When she dials the *88 number, it pauses then goes back to dial tone. This happens system wide, it affects all the phones. No voice prompt to tell them to record name.
I checked the short code column, *88 shows as: *88, Feature= Voicemail Collect, Telephone Number= *RecordName*, Line Group ID= 0, Locale= (blank).
User rights for this particular extension is "Working hours User Rights". Could there be something in the user rights that needs set up?
This is on a IP 500 version 4.2, Manager 6.2.
