Hello,

We just purchased a shoretel phone system, we are going to phase out an old nortel option 11. In the mean time, I have them connected via a PRI. The trouble I am having, is when a Shortel phone, talks to a Nortel phone, the volume is quiet. The Nortel user has to turn the volume all the way up to hear the Shoretel user. Is there anyhting I can adjust? a gain some where on the PRI, or something similar? any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm a bit of a shoretel newbie, but Under trunks/trunk group there should be a setting for adjusting tx/rx gain.

I do not seem to have that option under trunk groups.

its actually under platform hardware --> voice switches --> primary

Pick your switch and scroll down to the ports and you can increase the tx db or the rx db however you want.

Thanks Guys! dan, that was exactly what I was looking for.
