I have an unusual problem with SIP forwarding. Situation is:-

Carrier has SIP trunks terminating on Audiocodes SBC. The SBC has SIP connectivity to 4 * E220E1K Shoregear switches.

My problem is when an incoming SIP call via DNIS is CFWD back out to a cell phone, the call fails. I can see the outgoing call hitting the trunk group, but I get the following (TrunkError) on TMSNCC logs;-

Line 90390: 09:40:10.347 ( 4504: 9460) L-DE: 400002C3 "00090000-0838-530e-7e16-001049192475" 010011BC,rsn:97(TrunkError),C("","",0x20) TrGp=-1 "sip:TGrp_2,p151@10.100.73.13:5441"
Line 90391: 09:40:10.350 ( 4504: 9460) C-DE: 400002C3 "00090000-0838-530e-7e16-001049192475" 97,(TrunkError) "sip:TGrp_2,p151@10.100.73.13:5441"

Looks like the carrier is rejecting my call for some reason.

NB: I think need step would be SIP traces on E220 switch.

Any ideas.....

Some carriers do allow a call when the original incoming caller ID on the first trunk is sent back out on the trunk used to forward. I see this in PRI situation all the time. Once the carrier opens up the trunks to have any caller ID sent out it works.
