I need to create a PHP shopping cart, and my experience with carts is very limited. I understand it can be done just in dreamweaver. I am able to connect to MySQL database, but am unsure what info to put where.

Am I able to put different characteristics to items, such as size and color? Or does each have to be a separate item number?

Anyone have a basic tutorial so I can get a better understanding of how to do this? Thanks

There are a number of PHP shopping carts available and these are generally available free via your hosting provider. Check with them first to get a better idea and from there you can investigate how easy it will be to integrate it into your site.
