Is there a program or a way that I can save a shockwave file from a website to my computer.

Yes, if you know the URL of the file.

If you do, just knock up a basic text file that contains:

Code:
<a href="the url would go here">download</a>

Then save this as an HTML file, load it into your browser, right-click the link, and save where you like.
