Hi, I've used Illustrator for years and I've installed the Creative Suite recently. For some weird reason, none of my keyboard constrain or toggle keys are working. Usually holding down the shift key constrains a perfect circle or square, or the spacebar toggles the hand tool, but mine are not working. Has anyone any ideas about how I can correct this? Trying to do artwork is a nightmare... Thanks.

Shift key not working? Nightmare!

It works fine for me - the shift key - on the same OS as you, 10.3.9.
To find out the keyboard shortcuts for the tools, go to Edit menu/keyboard shortcuts. H will select hand tool.
If you're having problems, consider trashing the AI prefs. Quit AI and go to user/library/preferences/adobe illustrator settings/adobe illustratrot preferences. Relaunch AI ans see if things are better.
