shell script for parsing appledouble format file

Hi,
I am using MAC OS X. I have a appledouble format file(.adf). I want to parse this file to get the finder info. How to do this by using shell script?

structure of the file is binary.

Sehll is not adapted to treat binary files. A program should you be written (C langage for example).

You may try to parse the output of the od command with awk.
