Shell Script and Cron

I wrote a shell script that can email an attachment from HPUX. I works fine when I manually run it. When I add it to the crontab, however, the attachment dosen't come through. I think I may have to set my profile in the script but I am not sure.

Yes you have to ... profile's never executed by cron.

Do I just copy my .profile file into the script or is there some other way to do it?

S'thing like:

. .profile

will work in sh or ksh... or equivalent for other shells
