shdsl question with netopia 4553

Dear people,

A friend of mine asked me to configure this router for using shdsl with routed subnet

After trying out how to do it, I got a connection with the dsl line but not internet. In the "Wan event History" it says that rfc1483-1 ip is up and data link activated, the gateway is 127.0.0.2.

The configuration is a routed subnet. NAT, and dhcp are disabled

Does anyone can help me with this, I have no ideas anymore what to do.

aureliusster, what are trying to accomplish? Is this a new connection? having a problem? Just inquiring?

dont get bogged down with terminology. NAT, routed subnet, etc arfe default conditions for all DSL routers.

is your setup not working? P2E
