I have a DeskTop PC connected to the internet via a cable modem. I am also using a Netgear router in order to connect my LapTop PC to the internet. Question: Where can I get detailed steps that will allow my LapTop to use the DeskTop's printer wirelessly?
Thanks,
_Mike

What OS is on each device ?

<Do I need A Signature or will an X do?>

If you have the computers networked it could be as simple as going to the Control Panel, Selecting printers, add printer, click next and there should be an option to add a network printer it will step you thru it. You might have to load the drivers on the laptop but I don't remember.

I don't think they are networked. (My DeskTopcan not access the LapTop and vise versa. - I would like to network them so that I can share files, but do not know how to network using a wireless router.)

I have used a Desktop wired into a wireless router and laptops that belong to the same workgroup sharing the Desktop printer. If both are wireless I don't think it matters. Try to set up both in the same workgroup and make sure the xp firewall is not blocking you. If there is no security set on the Wireless router it should connect them. Be sure to set the desktop Printer as being shared. If you can get them talking try to install the printer as a network printer, if you have linked the computers it will help you find it
