Sharing out a scanner? 1

Does anyone know of any software,hardware or window settings to share out a scanner?

You would be wise to purchase a networked scanner, this would allow the software to be installed on every pc. I have done this a few times now look at HP they seem to be the best.

Axis 70U (hardware device -

) will accept most USB scanners and make them networkable. Not very expensive and fairly easy to setup. You can send the document from the device to a file share or email recipient (or multiple recipients at once).

I came across this when looking at HP networked scanner (7650n) and found that they just bundle one of these with the regular scanner.
