Hey All,

I'm trying to see if there's any way I can take a folder and publish it to the web so any authenticated user can get to it. Basically, I'll be dropping a file into this folder and I want people to be able to browse to it via a http:\\my-domain.com address. Is this possible? If so, can you guys point me in the right direction? I wanted to do this on a file server which has oodles of space on it. Been doing tons of research on it but many of the solutions are through 3rd party software which I am trying to stay away from.

Thanks for the help!

you are going to have to setup IIS and the web server for it. Then Turn off anonymous logins, and place the files you want in the folder. There is also some options in their to redirect folders, if you want to share something on a file server, for example.

I'd go more in detail, but I don't have anything in front of me right now to reference to.

You can Web Share any folder you like, as long as you have IIS running.
