Does anyone have any idea why client machines behind a firewall cannot access Sharepoint. It appears that Sharepoint needs to initiate some kind of communications with the client computer? Thanks.

Same here. Does anyone has any idea what is going on?

We have problems accessing a Portal server from Internet. I wonder if someone can provide some ideas. It will be much appreciated.

I will keep it short.

Situation:

Clients on LAN accessing Internet using MS Proxy 2.0. Accessing the server in different geographic location, get error page "You are unauthorized to view this page". Client cannot even get the username and password popup dialog box.

Accessing the same server from the Proxy server, no problem at all.

Can someone advise what settings on the Proxy server should be modify? For example, ports need to be open. All common ports are opened.

Thanks,

Sam
