How do I add additional user profile properties to the People Search Core Results web part?
There is a Fetched Properties section with the following values:
<Columns> <Column Name="WorkId"/> <Column Name="UserProfile_GUID"/> <Column Name="AccountName" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="UserName" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="PreferredName" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="YomiDisplayName" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="JobTitle" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Department" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Location" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="WorkPhone" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="PhoneExtension" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="CellPhone" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="FaxPhone" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="EightHundredPhone" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="HomePhone" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="OfficeNumber" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="PictureURL"/> <Column Name="HierarchyUrl"/> <Column Name="WorkEmail" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Path"/> <Column Name="HitHighlightedSummary"/> <Column Name="HitHighlightedProperties"/> <Column Name="Responsibility" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Skills" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="SipAddress" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Schools" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="PastProjects" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="Interests" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="OrgNames" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="OrgUrls"/> <Column Name="OrgParentNames" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="OrgParentUrls"/> <Column Name="Memberships" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="AboutMe" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="BaseOfficeLocation" HitHighLight="true"/> <Column Name="ServiceApplicationID"/> <Column Name="SocialDistance"/></Columns>
The Profile property that I want to add is call PDPTrait, this shows in the MySite of the user currently, and I have mapped this as a Managed Property. I tried just adding
<Column Name="PDPTrait" HitHightLight="True" />
into the set of values. This didn't return the desired results to say the least. Pretty much blew up the search page. I did not originally set the section up, it is also using an xsl to format the search results but that looks easy enough to sort but I need to get the property on there to begin with.
Windows Haiku:
Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.
