sharepoint 2007 picture library approval/workflow

Hi,
I've created a picture library I would like users to submit photos but for them not to appear until they have been approved. Is this easily done?

you can try information rights management and approvals.

I've tried... I setup an Approval workflow but it seems that users can see the photos in the library regardless of whether I've approved them or not. Information Management doesn't seem to have anything relating to approving items...

any other ideas?

You have configured so that Content Approval is also turned on for that specific Picture library?
