Sharepoint 2003 info

I have not found any useful information on how to setup Sharepoint 2003. We were using 2001 and want to use the updated version but I am having a hard time finding info on how to setup the web sites and set it up for use on an extranet. Please Help!!

There is quite a large amount of technical information on the microsoft technet site, there are also admin pdf's available for download including info on deployment, upgrade and admin.
