How can I have a shared phonebook between phone manager (pro/lite) users without using the ipo contacs ?

Is any way to add / remove / modify ipo contacts without using manager ?

Thanks

Ip Office will dial out from Outlook contacts as standard. both PM lite and Pro have this option. Phone manager Pro will Pop Outlook on an incoming call.

We have an outlook connector that allows users to dial from outlook contacts and public outlook contacts.

So you don't need to use the system speed directory for the company contacts

If you have an Exchange server on site you can create on in your public folders which the whole company can use and set say 2 people to update te numbers etc

Then they can dial using oultook and the tapi driver

Use the LDAP feature. This way you can store your directory in any product that can provide access via LDAP (Lotus Domino, MS Exchange, Windows Active Directory, Novell stuff, etc etc).

The contacts found are then shown on the phones, softconsole, and phone manager.

..can be configured on the system page, LDAP tab.
There are plenty of other threads on getting this working with AD etc.

On the 20x0 handset you then access the contacts from LDAP in the same way as the normal contacts - "Speedial" then "Index
