Hi,

In my office on our Merlin Legend R6.1 V11, with a mixture of BIS-10s and various MLX models, if Joe Bob is on Line 1, and Billy Bob presses Line 1 and picks it up, they can both be on the call with the person.

I need a way that nobody can pick up on a line if someone else is already on it. Is there a way to program this? We handle multi million dollar legal contracts and I can not have someone listening in on another parties call.

You can program privacy buttons on your phones.
The feature code is *31.

Is there a way to have privacy automatically on? On my MLX-10s and BIS-10s I already have 9 lines, plus ICOM.

Just press FEATURE and dial 31. You don't need to put it on a button. The display will show Privacy On
