I have W2K Server with SP4. When I double click on My Computer to open it up, the C drive is not showing as shared. When I right click on My Computer and go to Manage then look under System Tools\Shared Folders, the C drive is listed as shared. Not that I need to share it. Just curious why it does not show as shared in one place but does in another.

If the drive is shared using the name C$ that is the default administrative share. Windows sets those shares up by default and the little hand under the drive that indicates it is shared will not show up since is not a regular share. It is only for "administrative" purposes. It will also be hidden in network places as well.
