Shared Calendar problems after migrating to new server

We are currently in the middle of moving from Exchange 2000 to 2003, using the swing method.

So I have built an additional Exchange 2000 server, and moved all the existing mailboxes, public folders to this second server - so far everyhing is fine.

What I now need to do, is shutdown the original server, leave it down for a week or so, and if all OK I'll rebuild it at Exchange 2003.

Trouble is, when I stop the information store on my original server, some users can no longer open other people's calendars, that before they had no problem with. As soon as I start the information store again, they can see it.

I wonder if the problem is somehow on the users machine (all use Oulook 2000), and its somehow caching the information about the original server.

I know the problem is not with the delegate's calendar, as when this problem occurs, other users with permission can see the calendar.

Anyone, any ideas

Thanks

We've put SP2 on. Found the solution to this.

Turns out the reason the calendar wouldn't open was because it was still linking back to the old server.

If the user opens the calendar from fresh, it opens fine.

Thanks anyway
