Hello.

Customer asked me to share phone book between their two sites and each one has a cluster.

How can I do that?

I tried to share Telephone Directory between two elements from each site.

I received an error message saying that the element is already on other cluster.

Is there a way to share phone book between clusters?

ICPs are using MCD 6.0.

Thanks.

How many sites total?

I only ask because the purpose of a cluster is to share information such as the telephone book between sites.

You seem to be saying you have 2 sites and each site is clustered with only itself as a member. This makes little sense.

There are two sites.

Each site has two pbx in a local cluster.

Customer wants to share the phonebook between clusters.

Is that possible?

Possible yes.

Easy, maybe not

Has any care been taken to avoid conflicting extension numbers between sites?

I suspect not. This being true, you can introduce a PNI code to join clusters.

I never did that (using PNI to join cluster).

How can I do that?

There is no number conflict between sites.
