I am currently tracking inventory and when there is one item in a certain space, the object aligns in the dead center, but when there are two or more items in that certain space, the items stack next to each other(using the YAxis), which is a good thing, but the bad thing is all those shapes in the space move 2ft to the left automatically, so they are now not centered in the space shape.
Is there a way to make a general for loop that will find all the computer shapes in the document, find all the spaces these shapes refer to and make a formula, maybe using the PinX to align the shapes to the center of the space? I don't know how to reference the space since I imported the data into Visio. I imported the spaces first, then imported the computers and referenced the spaces from the first import and placed in the document.
Any suggestions? I will keep researching this to see if I can find out something.
thanks!!!
