shadowing/keyboard error

I have Citrix Metaframe 1.8 and whenever I shadow a user it seems to create a keyboard error. Their keyboard will either be unable to use their number keys or their caps will be lowercase until they log out of Citrix. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.
