Can anyone help me setup my email on CCM and CMC.
1. I set these report server services; Cache server, page server, Destination server to login with my server user ID and Password. The other server under the CCM is still logged in as my local system. Do I need to set these servers up with the server user ID and password?
2. On the CMC I set the same report server services up the same way with ; Cache server, page server, Destination server: I add my domain name: domain.com, Server Name: servername.domain.com, port 25, authentication: none, SMTP User Name: Server ID, SMTP Password: Server p/w, From: my email address, To: my email address. I put this information in all the servers that I mention. I am still getting an error when running my report. Here is the error: Error Message: server error. SMTP_E_TCPSOCKET_OPEN(2): CrystalEnterprise.Smtp

I enable the SMPT Email on all Server services. Did add all the information to them and still get a failed status when I run the report. When I run the report with all default setting for internal reporting it works. But it will not send email to my outlook. I hope someone could help me on this. Thanks Donald

Confirm that the SMTP server you are connecting to (eg. MS EXCHANGE) will accept SMTP requests from the servers (name or tcp/ip number) that are hosting the CE/BOE services.

There is usually a list of approved SMTP requestors on the e-mail side to make sure that nobody can use your SMTP server as a spam-generator.

Did you make sure your virus protection software is allowing access through port 25? If you are using McAffee right click the icon in the sys tray, go to virus scan console, double click access protection and make sure the first item in the list "Prevent Mass Mailing Worms From Sending E-Mail" Ports 25 is unchecked.
