I want to make it possible that a group of people only can use the SEND/RECIEVE button on scheduled times.

How can I make that happen? I'm not sure.

This I already know:
Tools, Send/Receive, Send/Receive Settings, Define Send/Receive Groups...'All groups'. Checkbox 'every 30 min SEND/RECIEVE', uncheck F9 button and other settings OFFLINE.

But can I make this possible working with a DOMAIN POLICY and also block the accessebility of the tab.

Any experts?

Dear JoePC,

The board wants to limit the time that some groups of people can use their email so that they only are working with mail by a schedule (say from 08:00am-09:00 and 13:00 till 14:30).

That why.

AFAIK Outlook to Exchange cannot be configured like that. Exchange does the sending and receiving and Outlook just looks at the live store.

You could use a port blocker on a scheduled job script on the Exchange server that would continue to run transparently but that would affect all users.

Thanx Zelandakh! But the port blocking script is no option. This would effect all users.

But does anybody knows if I can make a Group Policy with MS Office Resource Kit and set?:

Tools, Send/Receive, Send/Receive Settings, Define Send/Receive Groups...'All groups'. Checkbox 'every 30 min SEND/RECIEVE', uncheck F9 button and other settings OFFLINE.
