Setup Runtime files - failed

I am trying to install the windows component update (While installing Visual Studio.NET on a windows 2000 server as administrator) and it fails at - Setup Runtime files. When bootstarp.msi is executed separately, it give an error saying unable to access file mdmui.dll. The dll is present in the CD with read writes.


Can somebody tell me what the possible reason could be ?

hi varajan...i have the same problem..did u find a solution?? please let me know...thanx alot..hopefully one day i can do some .NET... one day..some day..
