setup a POS customer display in Delphi 5

i create a small POS using delphi and i want to use it along with barcode scanner and customer display, well i managed to set the barcode scanner but not the customer display..can anyone help me with this customer display ?how to set it?
I use tcomport for serial port communication.
please assist me on this ..

You have read the fine manual I guess?, there should be at least some hints on how to put info on the display.

Hi thank for the quick replay, well i've readed the manual but i don't seem to understand how to write a command to the POS display so it can show what i want it to show,
i use tcomport to connect with the port the manual device set to Data transmissio Method : Serial with DTR/DSR control for handshaking and using 9600Bps, non parity, 8 databits, and 1 stopbit.
Can you gave me litle sample on how it can show a text or number ?
