I have an Intuity V5 hooking up to a Prologix. I have set all the exts in the prologix and the hunt group. The intuity is in Definity Mode Code. The question is how do I set the voice ports with their respective extension numbers? Also, how do I make the Intuity turn on and off the MW? Thank you.

I am having the exact same problem right now. Someone please help. I was told that in the MWI devices, the switch id should remain 1, but the device id has to be changed from 2 to 2,3. I did this, but the problem persists. I think the voice equiptment page has to be modified also. I am not sure how to do that though. Not sure if anything else has to be changed.

I just figured out the problem. There are quite a few things that must be correct. From the Unix menu, select Switch Interface Administration, Call Data Int. Admin, Device Assignment. The switch id should be 1 and the device should be 2,3. Then go back to the main menu. Select Voice Sys. Admin., Voice Equiptment. Use F8 to assign Group 3 to Channel 0 and unassign group 2 from channel 0. On the same screen, change PBX extension to Channel and make sure channels 0 through how ever many ports you have match the audix hunt group members in the PBX. Channel 0 must match hunt group member 1 and so forth. Lastly, go back to the main menu. Select Switch Int. Admin, Call Data Int. Admin, MWI Admin., MWI Parameters. The codes to turn the message lights on and off must match the feature access codes in the switch next to Leave word calling send and Leave word calling cancel. With all of these, you should be fine.

Note, you must have a craft login to change Device Assignment.

Good luck.
