hi,

i am sure this is a piece of cake to most people.

I have a textbox (text100) in a subform (my subform) in a main form (my mainform), how do i set the text100 value to 50? is it somehting like..

forms![my_mainform]![my_subform]!text100 = 50

doesn't seems to work, please enlighten.

Cheers
Sam

Hi Sam

A useful tip for problems like this is to set up a simple query and use the build facility to set any field to a value.

This will then show you the correct syntax.

e.g. Forms![MainFormName]![SubformName]![FieldName] = Value
Hope this helps

Regards
Tom
