I wish to configure my new laptop to run both XP pro and Win2K. So far I have divided the drive into 3 partitions and installed Win2K on the first (Fat 32) partition. The second is formated to NTSF. I have Boot Magic also installed.
My questions are:
1) Can I just install XP on the second paartition with no problems? if so how, as it is now hidden!
2) Can I convert the first partition to NTSF or does it have to stay Fat32?
3) Do I actually need Boot magic or will XP deal with the 2 operating systems?

windows have their own booting system, so u don't need booting software,

i haven't try dual booting using NTFS and FAT32 yet, but I know that if both are FAT32, then you can dual boot, since you're having 3 partitions and the second partition is NTFS, then why don't you just install XP on the 3rd partition and let both OS read the NTFS as file storage.
