Setting up WIT-400h on IPECS 50A

Hi all,

I have been trying to set up the WIT-400h IP phone but i cant seem to get it registered on the phone system. I followed all the instructions for set up that came with the phone but still nothing. The phone is connecting to the wifi and i can ping it but registration to the phone system isnt working.

I have double checked all the IPs that are needed and double checked all the SIP settings but nothing is jumping out.

If anyone has any ideas on what i have missed that would be a great help

In the MFIM you just have to set PGM443 (ID, password and number). The ID not with "sip:ID" like for normal sip phones That´s it in the MFIM.
In the WIT-400 use the MFIM IP as SIP domain and Proxy IP.

When you said "ID" is there a particular ID you have to input or is it just an ID you set in PGM443? as for the desired number is that just an extn you want to set it to?
Got a feeling iv made a small minor mistake somewhere.

the easiest way is to use in PGM443 for ID the same number like the station number. Than you can use in the WIT-400 the same number for "Phone number" and "Display Name".

OK, i have done everything correctly but after i set up the "provisioning settings" the phone came us "provision completed" as i suspected it would but the the phone with a line through it icon still stays. The phone isnt registering with the system, i can ping the phone so it is defiantly on the network.

try to set IP Auth usage=off in PGM 210

I managed to get the phone working. After countless resets then setting up up from scratch it sprung into life. Cheers for your help!
