I can't seem to make a VPN connection with my Linksys WRV54G and the Linksys QuickVPN Utility. I had my friend install the program and I made a user account on the router for him. When he tries to connect he gets the error message that states check your password, server IP address, Windows firewall etc.
He has Windows firewall turned off. I can see on the router status that he tried to connect. I'm not sure what the problem can be. I did not make any changes to the Security > VPN settings.
Can anyone help me out? I looked at this one website called Router World but it discusses the RV08 which makes it abit hard to follow. I do have experience setting up VPNs with Windows 2000 Server so I know how a VPN should work.
