Hi all,

I need your help desperatly. :\

I setup target line 246 in bcm 400 pub.received # 1500 priv.received # 1500. Then assiged dn to 1555.

After that, when I call the main # then press the ext. 1500, dn 1555 does not ring.

What did I do incorrectly?

Not sure what you mean.Does your Auto Attendant answer then you press 1500 or is this comming in via a DID number?

It comes to AA answer and customer press 1500 which is virtual dn. Then we can set answer dn from 2 other phones.
That is what I am trying to do.

Put a answer DN of 1555 on the 2 phones you want to answer 1555's #.

When it comes to AA, if customer press 1500(virtual dn).

I want to be able to pick up from 1555 and 1556 which both of them are actual phones.

They need to be in the same pickup group.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Target lines (line 246) only work on calls coming from a trunk, not internal dialtone. If the call is answered by the AA, and someone presses 1500, it's not gonna ring a telephone with Target Line 246 (Recvd digits 1500). If someone calls from the PSTN xxx-1500, it will ring x1555. If someone called across a P-P, or VoIP and dialed 1500, it would ring x1555. But not out of AA, unless you do what cook said, and add an Answer DN for 1500 on x1555.
