Hi All,
I'm sure there is a very simply solution for what I am trying to achieve but am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am trying to set up what should be a simple voice mail implementation.
This is a small site with 10 ip phone users (5312's) and 1 embeded VM license.
(CXi - 5.0 SP1 PR1 (11.0.1.26))
There is a spare IP phone in the office that they wish to use for the VM (external calls OOH only - night 1) which sits by the front door, so if a VM has been left they would like to be able to glance at the phone when they get in to see if there are any VM's using the flashing message indicator.
I have set the spare phone up as a standard Extension voicemail and all was working perfectly well, until the site decided that prior to going to VM when in night 1 a group of phones should ring first and then be sent to VM if no-one answers.
The way I have tried to achieve this works to a point, but for the message indicator lamp will not indicate when a VM is present. Now I did try to explain how I have set this up in a previous thread but there seemed to be a lot of confusion (I can't seem to find the thread any longer). so, instead of trying to explain it again I wondered If any of you wonderfully knowledgable folks could run me through how you would achieve this.
Incoming external calls come in over a single analogue trunk and are forwarded using Non-dial in trunk answer points in the trunk attributes form.
Thanks very much in advance for your time.
