Hello everyone.

I know this is possible, because I'm sure I've seen it done, but I can't figure it out. Is it possible to set up citrix so that when you go to log on it brings you right to the w2k logon (no nfuse), and once you have logged on, brings up the profile/desktop of the user? How does one explicitly set up a desktop for the basic users?? I can set up my desktop as a published application, but it allows anyone and everyone to access everything on my server, including shut it down.

Someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Place the Citrix Server into its own Organisational Unit and create a Group Policy for that OU. If the Group Policy has the Loopbaack Processing Mode enabled then it will be applied to anyone who logs onto a server in that OU.
You can then set the Group policy to lock down the desktop as you want. Removing the Shutdown command is an option here as well as diabling the command prompt, disabling Control Panel and a vast list of other options.
A program called HideCalc which you can download from the web allows you to create a policy to hide the servers drives and works very well.
I takes a while to go through the policy options but most of the settings you need are there and other .adm files are available on the web to add more options.

Hope this points you in the right direction and good luck.
