how do u set up the console to receive the SDMR i know you have to go into for 34 but then what?! it says enter the extention. our console is 500 so i enter 500 and says its not vaild. dont' you have to do something in for 11 or 12 the data circuits or something liek that?

so I just called for you for the last time left a call back number!! I am going to spell this out for you ,you go to the form that says console assignments find the console circuit
that you are trying to connect you laptop to.right the bay slot and circuit number down then go to form 12 and scroll down to that bay slot and circuit number and do what I posted above thats were you tell it that you want to assign the dscons .... as far as the 1103 like I said
the data set only runs on the black/yellow
of the jack so if you used the first pair from the
frame white blue -blue white on your station cable the white blue on the station cable would be connected to the yellow terminal the blue white would be connected to the black terminal tipped over get it? I stongly suggest getting
the edocs for the icp and reading them if you have folio on the computer on site I suppose I can send the nfo's to you

when setting your dscons you do creat an ext for it and all
other info like cos cor and that you can copy from the 1103
I was reading the edocs for the icp I opened them for the
first time and did a search for dscons and all the info
regarding my posts poped up and having said that
you would have had the other com port running already
if you had done the same.

you will have to change your baudrate to 2400 in your
data descriptor aslo!

i told you already i know the console circuit number and it says its already assigned elsewhere. its not in form 12 otherwise i would know how to do it!

hey i'm done i've gone to the outer limits for you read
the book and figuir it out for youself

The following steps describe how to program a dataset printer port.
1. Form 11, Data Circuit Descriptor
- Define a circuit descriptor to match characteristics of device type. Refer to Form 04, System Options and Timers on page 133 for typical circuit descriptor.
2. Form 12, Dataset Assignment
- Assign the type of data device for the dataset PLID. Available types are DSCONS Console (output only, maximum 2400 baud) and 1103/2103 Standalone dataset.
- Assign a Tenant, Extension number, COS, COR, and circuit descriptor number.
3. Form 34, Directed I/O
- Define printout type to be delivered to the dataset.

i know you have i appreciate your help so much! thank you.
